This next way to spread kindness is kind of an add-on to smiling. Take smiling one step further and actually ask a stranger how their day is going. It can be scary, I know. An easy way to do this is to ask someone while you are making a purchase. For instance, if you happen to be buying something at Target and the cashier asks you how you are doing, you can ask them back. Really simple :)
I think that it is so important to be nice to the people who are helping us out at stores..maybe it's just because I have worked at Target and Starbucks, but some people can be so rude over a shirt or a cup of coffee. It makes me wonder how they would react when something really serious happens, but that's another story.
